Correction

In my last post, I mentioned that being a wife is a medium-fun job. As I read it, I thought, "Oh no!" Being a wife is the most fun, but what I meant was that the work it takes is more medium-fun. Just wanted to clear that up!

By the way, I've been thinking about making a cooking blog... basically trying out recipes and giving my reviews. Any thoughts?

Does anybody read this? :)

I read! I read! :o) I'd love to read more of your recipes, by the way...

PS - I figured that's what you meant with the "medium fun" comment, but thanks for verifying!

I read too!! I'd love a recipe blog!

Also, I'd love to help with advice on your previous post, but I'm still in the single world. I find that as much as I can usually help people because of my experiences with all my married friends that it just seems to be something you want to hear from someone in the same stage of life as you are. I can say that I am in a relationship. Truthfully, that makes me nervous! It is good and he makes me smile like none-other, but it is the unknown. I'm such an independent woman and have been all my life. I've dated here and there but I've just become so comfortable and happy with it being just me that this has been so unexpected. I can say that I do cherish my work/life/relationship(of all kinds) balance. It is about prioritizing the things most important to you and yet not losing who you are. It is about taking care of you, Rachel, and of course your family first. I know it is hard. Relationships of all kinds are hard and I find that out of observation that marriage is hard, but from what I can tell the most worth it. I know God will guide you and give you the wisdom and knowledge you need, both of you need, to get through anything! Plus, the house will come all in His timing! I can tell you that God's timing is way better than our own. AS I'm sure you know being away from Texas. Me, I didn't grow up down here and never thought that 10+ years after moving to Houston I'd still be here, but I am, and I'm loving it! It is where God wants me and that makes me happy!

I hope this helps and if not that's ok as my thoughts may not makes sense!

Back to work...have a wonderful day and weekend!!
